Review on 🌬️ NewAir AF-1000W Portable Evaporative Air Cooler with Fan, Humidifier and Indoor Tower Fan - White by Aravind Joshi

This cooler is working really well for us right now. However, I doubt that it will survive the summer. We are in Southern California. We had an open wind window cooler hooked up and I think that's the key to making it work. We turned it on with no open window and noticed the humidity in the room and the lack of air cooling effect. The device appears to be leaking and turns itself off. I can't say exactly why or how. Sometimes quite a lot, sometimes quite a lot. After the first leak and wet carpet I decided to put the device in a clear storage case. This solves the problem pretty well as it still works fine despite the leak. Due to the shortened toe, I added some padding to the top of the box. This unit really solves our problem of needing a portable air conditioner in our bedroom. However, I have a feeling we'll bring it back for the summer as even I will likely need more cooling and a closed window in the summer. * My husband was addicted to sub-zero temperatures, which caused serious problems between us at night. *Please note that in my photos I use an ice pack in the device and water addition to reduce bacterial growth. We don't actually use an ice pack as it takes more effort to remove the entire back of the device. But I see no reason why it would harm the device if you wanted to. We just fill it up with a few jugs of water, a couple full caps of additive, and a large cup of ice. And all this in a small hole on the side. Now here's the thing. Why do I need all these problems with this device? Why didn't I return it if it leaks? Because I only paid $40 for it at Revain Warehouse Deals. In my opinion, this device is not worth the full price. whatever it is But for $40, I'm willing to deal with leaking and filling with water every night. because it saves us a lot of air conditioning bills and saves our marriage. I would say if I had spent $75 or $100 on it I would have been a lot more disappointed and would probably try returning it for another model in that price range. But if you can get it cheaply, then it definitely works!
