I love woodworking and thought this would be more useful than it turned out. Although it is basically metal construction with a heavy cast iron base, I have found that the very short travel of the saw/grinder holder makes it useless to me. The stroke is only 4 inches, and this does not include the constraint of making the blade diameter small. While it fits most 4.5" diameter angle grinders or small angle saws (4" and smaller blades), it doesn't provide the utility I wanted.
