Review on Merrick Puppy Dry Dog Food: Premium Quality with Real Meat by Jason Havens

Our puppy never had normal bowel movements on this food and ended up with fairly constant diarrhea. According to our vet, we switched to a bland chicken and rice diet for a few days due to digestive issues, and then when we tried going back to those pellets, she had explosive diarrhea and the poor thing, who slept all night, was whimpering and was forced to leave 3 times a night. So we went back to the chicken and rice for the second time and then tried turning on kibble again and same thing, explosive diarrhea (sorry for that pic but it's true) in the middle of the night. I couldn't give it to our pup again so I stopped him immediately. I gave it two stars instead of one because I thought the ingredients looked good but the potatoes didn't. It might work for you, but it definitely did NOT work for our golden retriever.
