Jonard's new desoldering tool works better than any other design I've used. It's a lot better than the Jonard clones that sell for about half that price. However, this is definitely not suitable for production work. After about 200 uses, the plastic clip holding the spring to the plunger breaks, rendering the device unusable. There is no substitute. Problem number two is that the plastic tip wears out very quickly. While there are substitutes, they really shouldn't be melting anytime soon. It won't take long to fix these issues and make this a five star rating.
