Review on High Performance 14.8V 4S 30A 18650 Lithium Battery BMS PCB: Advanced Integrated Circuits Protection Board by Joe Murphy
Faulty BMS: power converter
Avoid this BMS! The PCBA was used for a 4S 2P block with a maximum voltage of 16.8V. The PCBA only output about 2.78V when connected to a Li-Ion block. I then applied a charge to the block and the PCBA then came out of this state and put out 16.8V. After a few minutes, the board went back to sleep, outputting only 2.78V. The only way I found to get it out of a 2.78v state is supposed to be 16.8v. This does not allow me to use my package. I have contacted the seller but have not received a reply.
