I've only used it for a month or two so I can't say how long it will last. But now it works fine. I like the large dial, especially since the gauge reads up to 100psi. I need this assortment for bicycle tires with Schrader valves. But it still has enough space between the marks to read my car tires to within 1psi. The head rotates too easily so you have to hold it by the head as you press it against the valve stem. He maintains his blood pressure well and will hopefully continue to do so as he ages. Some reviewers have complained that the tire will bleed if you don't hold it directly against the valve stem, but that's how all these sensors work. Once you learn how to push it straight, it's no problem.
