Review on 🔌 Trisonic 1600W Foreign Travel Converter - AV Voltage Step Down Power Adapter 220V to 110V by Joe Lantz

International Travel Converter 1600W AV Step Down Voltage Power Adapter 220 110 Received this morning. It looks very well designed and well packaged. It looks very vintage, like a product from the 60's or 70's which makes it cool, it matches my guitar amp and other cool vintage products I have. Don't let that impression fool you into thinking this is an old, heavy product. As soon as you pick it up, you will immediately understand that this is a modern product, from the finish to the materials and the feel. The main unit is made of lightweight, durable aluminum. The white lid is made of beautiful plastic and is removable. It has small latches that allow the lid to come loose if you expand the plastic sides a bit. (see photo) I have used similar blocks from other manufacturers, this one stands out. Others were very heavy for what they are, heated etc. This device is light. I specifically chose this device because I am preparing for a motorcycle trip abroad and need it for some of my electronics. Weight and volume were the decisive criteria for my decision. This converter is by far the lightest and smallest/compact device. The white plastic cover can be removed revealing a very interesting feature: the fuse! It's way better than the devices I've used before because when they fail you have no idea what happened. It has a fuse that can prevent damage to itself or the product connected to it. In practice I may be wrong, but in theory it should be. I commend the manufacturer for at least trying and not just doing another "same old" thing. Haven't tried it with 240V to 110V settings yet as I need to get to a place where 240V is used before I can give a full review of how it works. I believe this is a good product and will work well. I will update this review once I use it. I did a lot of research, read and researched many products in this segment. I think this is the best option all in all. I would recommend.
