Poor design - consider another product
These vents are good at best. The main problem with them is the little piece of plastic that you connect the hose to. The little piece of plastic is moving everywhere and fell into one of my Airstones before falling out. You can skip all those air stones and throw a hose connected to an air pump into a tank to get the same effect. Spend some extra cash to get 2 aero bricks to use in place of one with a bent hose mount and one with a loose hose mount/poor blistering.
- Airstones need to be replaced every few months as they become clogged with dust, bacteria and algae.
