UPDATE! I broke the tip of my knife as I said below called the company to order a new one and they sent me a new one within a few days for free! The 5 year guarantee is taken seriously. I only got it today so can't speak on durability but it's a beautiful knife and I chop garlic and slice chicken breasts very thin (happy dogs) and now I'm working on my Instant Chicken Tikka Masala. I can't believe the way he's slicing chilled chicken breasts! I keep my ginger frozen so that's next. Works perfectly! I hold it up on the magnet. Sometimes I sharpen it with steel. I dropped it on the tile floor tonight and broke the top! I am very sad. I will keep using it and see how it goes. Almost a year 😢.
