Where has this little tool been my whole life when I've been eating salad? My god I love it! Everything I've used to date is slicing salads into small pieces. I hate big, giant chunks of lettuce that make it impossible to eat with dignity. I toss the lettuce mix in a bowl, assorted veggies, and just chop and roll. After a few shakes to redistribute during the process, voila! A lovely, bite-sized, evenly-cut salad. Guess what else - it's perfect for picky kids! My three girls don't like chunks of broccoli or celery in their salad, but they chop them all up and no one notices. This thing is awesome and will definitely increase my family's consumption of healthy salads (I'm a terrible chopper The handle is very comfortable and good looking (and back from my kids - my e only concern with this storage method) on my counter.
