love this thing. I walk for fitness and so my osteochondrosis doesn't cripple me. that also means cold weather so I needed a hat to wear so my bowler hat wouldn't freeze but the sweat wouldn't drip off me. the usual knitted hat is ready. it's just right, breathes well, keeps me warm but doesn't retain excess heat or moisture. I saw it on a hiker review site and decided "why not" - best purchase I've made this year. it doesn't look ridiculous in work clothes, either, but keeps my ears from burning when I have to walk through the frozen tundra of the Pentagon parking lot in 25 F and 20 knots of wind.
