I bought this fan to complement my off-the-grid camping adventures. Since my camper is tiny, I was specifically looking for something that was not only small, but also USB chargeable to get the most out of my small solar panel without connecting it to the battery in the camper. I charged the fan at home when I got it and turned it on to second speed at 10:09pm when I went to bed that night. At 5:05 am the next morning, he was still working. I took it to the office and turned it back on to second speed at 8:30 without charging. I kept working until he stopped at 4:48 p.m. This adds up to a total of 15 hours and 13 minutes, which is more than the seller's estimate. I plugged it in while discharging and switched to first and second speed and everything worked. It didn't work at maximum speed when connected and trying to work from a discharged state. I'm glad it worked as described. It generated plenty of airflow and was very stable with minimal noise. The fan's ability to rotate is very useful and it has an attractive design. I charged it later that night (it took over three hours to fully charge) and then turned it on at high power around 10:30pm. He worked until 7 p.m. :27 the next morning, around nine o'clock. I plan to buy another one for my office. I can recommend this fan! I didn't have the fan on all the time when it was plugged into the USB port as I didn't want to use it, so I can't tell if it works that well or not.
