The front filter strands appear to be working well and are serviceable. However, all 3 light gray rubber rollers broke, each only lasted 2-5 times. We have 3 large dogs so pet hair is very important - the hair seems to wrap around the inside of the roll and damage the clasp. I'm not sure why we don't see that in the dark gray video. If you don't have pets, this might work. On the contrary, the original video lasted 2 years and got the same hair growth but didn't cause breakage. We were able to clean the hair with scissors and let it flow even though it had a few splits so we decided to finally replace it and sadly throw the old one away. We ordered the OEM rollers for $31, which is pricey, but worth it given how easily these cheap versions break.
