This set is exactly what I was looking for. I have some great videos from another purchase a few years ago. I wanted to add more reels to the ones I had, so I added some smaller reels. They are of good quality and the clips provided are perfect for holding the curlers while styling. I curl my hair when it's still 10-15% damp and then dry it while my hair is in the curler. I let them cool a bit (while I'm getting ready or just before leaving the house) and then blow them on my dryer with the cold air before removing the rollers. It adds volume to my flat, fine hair without being the typical "curly" style. There is extra volume at the roots and hairspray keeps my hair styled for hours. The trick is to wrap a small section of hair, 2 inches wide (or less) around the curler. I direct the heat from the blow dryer into the curlers to heat the aluminum. I love the way my hair looks in these curlers and have been using them for 10 years now!
