Great price but little value for small parts - headache

My son bought a 1TB Silcon Power SSD for an MSI motherboard and it didn't come with a mounting screw. That's why we bought this kit to fit screw parts and have a spare for future use. Some of these kits come with a magnetic screwdriver, but not this one. My fault for not paying close attention. It's just a regular screwdriver and it's very small. The mounting screws were also very small, at least compared to the standard mounting screws that came with the original motherboard inside the tower. Needless to say, it was a pain to install the tiny screw with a tiny, non-magnetic screwdriver. I finally went to the tool box and was given a regular magnetic screwdriver that worked like a charm. So the card is now secured with a tiny mounting screw and everything looks fine. However, next time I will definitely pay attention to the size of screws and screwdrivers, magnetic or not, as well as the general specifics of everything that comes in the kit. One of the reasons was the cost of buying the item but mostly for my sanity it was time to install or use it.

Pros
  • Low profile with 5mm height
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
