Review on 🐠 Lifegard Aquatics Low Iron Ultra Clear Crystal Aquarium with Built-in Side Filter - Rimless Glass, Peninsula Style by Sara Murphy

The tank itself was well packaged and arrived safe and sound. It's a big size for a small nano aquarium and it looks very nice. The glass is excellent and well assembled. The problem I had was that there is a small hole in the bottom of the overflow compartment and the filter/plug that came with it didn't fit in that hole at all. I ended up sanding down the plastic plug to make it fit. I think this hole was too small for the hardware that came with it, and since the material is glass you can't easily fix the hole yourself. I emailed the company to ask about this but never received a reply. I'm not entirely sure how useful this hole is, firstly if it's left open to flow the overflow doesn't make much of a difference. Another downside to this tank is that the pump that comes with it is very noisy. An energy efficient 3 watt pump should be nearly silent, but will make grinding and popping noises even when well insulated from the glass. You'll probably want to replace this pump, so there's not much point in turning it on. My shrimp are comfortable in the tank and a new return pump should be arriving soon. I would probably buy another tank from this manufacturer but it would be better if they fix these problems and maybe sell it without the return pump.
