Easily fits older Evinrude. I just installed 18hp on my 1966 Fastwin. I had to get screws that were 1-2 inches longer (note the thread pattern at Homedepot, this motor was made in America, not China) and it twisted right in. The engine is running again. Now that I've solved my problem with the $15 part I'll get the OMC part from Marineengines.com. By the way, I asked the seller if it would fit my engine, they said no, but it fits, it fits. 5 hp motors are suitable. - no less than 25 hp 60s and 70s, of course with two longer screws. It might fit more models, but I know that for sure.
