Review on Stylish and Waterproof: Introducing the Columbia Women's Pardon My Trench Rain Jacket by Breanna Homack

Is it enough to breathe?

This style is flattering. It's more form fitting than the Arcadia but has enough room to wear a 200lb fleece underneath. (So it looks a bit bulky, but I wouldn't always wear it with fleece.) It's waterproof and folds down compactly. The length is somewhere between jacket and coat. The zipper goes in two directions and/or you can just close the front. The wrists are also adjustable. Although it should be designed as sportswear, the attached belt makes it smart enough for the city. The only significant disadvantage is that it does not let air through. There is a ventilation valve on the back, just like a traditional trench coat; but I don't know if that's enough to travel to a high humidity country near the equator. I don't want to take a portable sauna with me when walking or hiking. A color note: I bought the night, which looked like a medium light purple gray on screen. It's actually a dull navy blue, a good neutral to keep the dirt off but not very inspiring.
