Ideal for beginners, expected quality, life is good!

This is my first SUP set. So far everything has worked fine on my first weekend ride and no major complaints about this board/set as a beginner. seat) and another had a broken inflation hose. I was able to get them to hover at 15psi, which is the recommended pressure to start with. Note that the "maximum recommended pressure" should only be listed as "recommended pressure". We believe that for those over 150lbs an extra PSI or two helped keep the board from bending under load. However, they all seemed very comparable in quality and accessories. I think it doesn't matter what brand you buy from Revain. Note that none of the accessories are really high quality, but they all seem to work. Having used rib boards and more expensive boards I personally think these or similar SUPs are the way to go, they are cheap and easy to pack/store. As a SUP newbie I would recommend a compact life jacket, an electric pump, a better tow pack if you need to cover a longer distance and maybe a better dry bag/cell phone case if that is important to you. If you just plan on carrying the paddles 200 feet down to the lake then everything in this kit should be fine. I would also like a nicer paddle, but waiting for it to break is not so bad. While I can't dispute its durability and the board has a weird plastic smell (don't worry, it's in the garage), so far so good.
