Regret purchase for kitchen and dining room
Honestly these knives are terrible and have eroded my respect for Henckel's design and quality. I have used many Henckels knives and had no problems with any of them before ordering this set. However, all of these knives are serrated and almost useless for cutting. They don't cut through anything without sawing, and the raised areas between the teeth don't cut through. They are also very thick, making it difficult for them to cut anything. On the plus side, the handles are quite comfortable to grip and the knives and block look nice. Also, steak knives aren't bad and do a great job of cutting meat and the like.
