We bought five sets of phosphors! I've spent the last two years completely renovating the inside of our 50 year old hippie houseboat, a labor of love. The last thing that needed to be done was the kitchen, making an apron and figuring out the lighting in a room with very few outlets. I've already installed two remote control Puck lightbulbs under the cabinets. They are terrible, they lack light and they work when they want. And then I remembered seeing Shark Tank a few years ago and the camping lights the guys put up and Mark Cuban picking them up. My research has started in earnest! OMG WHAT A DIFFERENCE! We went with 5000k daylight as it can get pretty dark in the boat; it's in a covered deck in the harbor. Luminoodles are so easy to install, they'll be up and running in minutes. I've read reviews and seen where other people have put covers to put them on the back so the light doesn't hit them directly in their eyes. I quickly cut out a slanted quadrant for the front and sides of the cabinets, pre-drilled holes for the nails, applied a few coats of paint and set it up. The lights have been glued to the narrow, flat back of this fairing, fitted perfectly as you can see in the video. This little extra step will change the world when working under cabinet lights, as the light is meant to be front to back. We also built several sets into the ceiling joists to the wall. The back of the boat, so when we sit in the cabin at night, the light doesn't hit our eyes directly. We actually sat on the boat last night using just Luminoodles for the lights and it was so relaxing. This form of lighting is so sexy and chic! I'm remodeling our eat-in kitchen in 2021 and will be installing the same ones there. I hope they come out with longer filaments of light, with the same type of battery box. sold for life!
