We needed extra storage for groceries and this was just perfect for our needs! It fits perfectly in the space we sketched and is a really high quality piece of furniture. But I want this item to be different and I want the laminated backboard to be as strong as the rest of this item, but at least where we have it, it's not. Apparently it doesn't really affect durability. The black goes well with the color scheme of our kitchen and dining room, as does the pewter hardware. The top drawer slides out smoothly and is a great place for my most used cookbooks, notepads, pens, etc. The bottom 2 doors open effortlessly and the storage cabinet is deeper than I originally thought so there's plenty of storage space! I will say that you should take enough time to assemble this part (2-3 hours). All parts are included, nothing is missing and there are some videos in the instruction manual which you can scan and watch on YouTube if needed. And although it is not necessary, a drill will speed up the process, since there are a lot of screws in this part. My husband and I are very happy with our purchase and would recommend it to others. This is a stylish and beautiful addition to our home.
