Great offer for a special knife.

I bought this knife after watching on TV how a Japanese man cleans tuna in seconds. Received just before the tuna fishing trip. I caught some great tuna and pulled out this monster knife and found very quickly that the person on TV was a lot better at this knife than me. It's not the knife, it just takes getting used to the fact that the blade is only bevelled on one side. It tends to burrow to the side instead of hovering over the bones. I was very impressed when I used it for its intended purpose of slicing and dicing fish and it works well with veggies too. The knife arrived well packaged and sharp. I would also suggest getting a blade sheath that is 2 1/2" deep and 12" long. The knife feels very heavy due to the length and thickness of the slot. The handle is simple, but feels good in the hand. I don't see the need for more than one bevel knife as it doesn't go with everything, but if you like sushi this is very good for the price.
