Beautiful! Like on the picture. Best in medium to low traffic areas. The "dirt" that comes out from underneath are actually tiny natural fibers, just pick them up and get on with your day. I've added a little jute ad below after reading some reviews about odor and misinterpreted dirt on these rugs. I hope it helps. This carpet is unbeatable in terms of quality, look, feel and price. I love it! :) Jute is grown in India and Bangladesh and emerges from the ground as glossy green stalks which are then soaked for 20 days. The fibers are obtained from the stem of the plant, not its leaves, which is what makes the jute fiber so soft but also not as strong. In fact, this is the same material that burlap is made of. The stems are cleaned and twisted, giving them a natural brown tint. Cleaning: Vacuum and stain but do not steam.
