THANK YOU FOR OTHER CUSTOMER'S FEEDBACK. My Neato is finally working again. I updated the software and now Neato has adopted the new improved filter and it works great! If you are upgrading to the newer filters and brush panel, make sure to update your Neato software. Instructions are available online. I purchased this item on the recommendation of a Neato Specialist to improve the performance of my Neato vacuum. I installed the brush and filter update as directed. However, every time I turned Neato on, it would crash and shut down. When I checked, I found that the filter "fly" out the door every time. Finally, I put my old filter back in and turned on Neato. However, it continued vacuuming the house as before, with a lot less noise, which I like. The downside is that Neato no longer vacuums my deep pile carpets with the new brush wand. Again and again he gets stuck on the carpet and announces that he can't move. Long story short, the filter doesn't work, the brush doesn't work on my mats, but the vacuum is so quiet that I accepted it and didn't return the product.
