The ball head is amazing. but within the first week one of the legs fell off and the base plate (where the mounting plate is located) became very loose - special Allen keys are included to solve both of these problems - but I didn't know when to always have Allen keys handy been. Therefore, make sure to immediately use the supplied Allen key and special foot tool along with the camera. You may need them often! Even after a facelift, the leg fell off three times a month. It didn't happen in front of the client (wow!) but it's quite annoying - so I always hold the camera or main stand to steady the tripod, while extending or retracting the legs in case it breaks off while adjusting. It's also a sturdy, easy-to-carry tripod, and I can't wait to use the 90-degree center speaker!
