I usually don't care about the look of the knives I like to use. What is really important to me is the performance and durability of my knives over long periods of use. Other than that I'm very happy with the way this knife looks. It's quite pretty and looks like a statement. It looks very expensive and I have already received many compliments on this and a few other knives I own from this brand. I particularly like the beautiful hammered look of the blade, which makes it look almost antique. The handle is just beautiful and I love the different color stains on it. This is a very durable quality knife. It's a good weight, but not too heavy to interfere with work. I believe it will last for many years. I use this knife to cut large vegetables for roasting. It works especially well with large heads of cabbage. It's also great with potatoes. It also comes with a plastic case for safe storage.
