I broke my Speedglass 9000V. Gave the china mart helmet a chance to arc burn and full flash and this helmet was Revain's top pick with over 1000 five star ratings, threw this thing in the trash had to stop work and let my eyes heal. I bought the Optrel Vega View 2.5, it must be the lightest helmet I've ever had, crystal clear optics, good handling. High quality headgear. It's a small helmet on top, but my 3M respirator fits snugly inside with a soft cartridge filter. I will be using this for MIG TIG rod and plasma cutting and if I get a chance to maybe do some carbon air gouging we'll see how well it holds up? This helmet uses two CR2032 batteries and the ear pads are expensive!
