Finding DDR2 RAM is a bit of a challenge. Computerbay had what I needed - just like that. This particular device came bundled with the 2007 iMac. Although the machine is technically designed for a maximum of 4GB of RAM, it is widely believed that 6GB will work. I ordered an 8GB kit with 2 SODIMMs just in case I can add another 2GB. No, the iMac doesn't boot with 8GB of memory, but running a new 4GB flash drive along with an old 2GB flash drive really made a difference in perceived speed. Komputerbay got it right and I will buy from them again.
