Review on Mom Birthday Gifts Changing Daughter by Rod Evans

My daughter bought me this item for Mother's Day. I hand washed it to make a cup of coffee. The letters light up as intended and disappear when the coffee gets cold or runs out. The next day my daughter put the mug in the dishwasher. When I flushed the dishwasher I noticed the letters were gone! Now I only have one black cup. I am extremely disappointed. For the price it should be dishwasher safe. Neither of us thought for a second that this wasn't going to happen. Hand wash only!
