I finally needed my lace pistol. Urgent wire did not apply. I wanted to drill out the contact tip. I tried other tips, they were the same. I noticed that the cable is kinked. Stretched the wire until it became new. Tried the tip and it worked fine. Wire must be in pristine condition for proper feeding. It works well. smoothly and consistently. Surprisingly easy to manipulate. Started to work clean with no black plaque. Now I'll see how long it lasts. It looks like it won't pass the drop test. You/I have to be careful.
