Unusual cut and cheap materials

PPE Safety - A tight fitting sleeping bag should not fit so far around the neck that it cannot be pulled over the child's face and present a choking hazard. This sleeping bag was purchased for my 7+ lb newborn. The size of the sleeping bag is so bizarre - the arms are so short but incredibly wide, the sleeping bag itself isn't much longer but the opening for the neck is very large. I'm not sure what proportions your child needs to meet this rule, but most children will outgrow it in body and arm length before the neck is securely in. And even stranger - of the two packs, one sleeping bag had even LARGER neck holes than the other, making it useless as it would outgrow it in length long before the neck was secure. Also, the fabric is a bit spiky and the zipper will knock off, creating "mounds" on the baby (if that makes sense). I should have returned them but I didn't. I would not buy again. I have Carter and Halo sleeping bags which are much better.
