Review on 🧠 LS2 Helmets Assault I Heart Brains Full Face Motorcycle Helmet W/SunShield - Black/Glow, XXX-Large: Enhanced Protection and Style by Sedric Hood

This is my second LS2 helmet, the first lasted 2 years and I got this one just in case my riding instructor explained that the padding in helmets that saves your brain in a crash is like styrofoam and breaks over time / gets microcracks every time the helmet is dropped. What I like is the style, built in sun visor (not fogged up so treat with some kind of lens cleaner to defog), really great visor - keep it clean and the view is fantastic. Also, being able to open or close the front/top ventilation is very useful. It also comes with a Pinlock anti-fog film specially designed for the visor (save $40). Complaints specific to this model: When I'm in a super aggressive stance in strong winds, its speed or rain is more for an upright stance, so I have to stretch my neck a little more than I do when I want to lean. That's fine since my bike is adventure touring and I rarely ride that way, but I'd like the view to be an inch higher. Maybe on my head too, not sure. It's not the quietest helmet either, but motorcycling is rarely a quiet activity. In summary, I love the LS2 helmets and am very impressed with this model. The sun visor and ventilation levers are easily accessible, and if necessary I can easily open the visor on very cold rainy days when even a pinlock cannot prevent the visor from fogging up. I find it is very well designed and I trust it will protect my head. The visor is easy to remove for cleaning and the ventilation is good enough that it doesn't usually fog up, but not so much that it gets too cold or too hot inside.
