Review on 🌊 Efficient Instant Ocean SeaClone Protein Skimmer: Hang-On or In-Sump, Explained by Sarah Hunter

Works well for a small tank

I use this for a small 20g grow tank. I decided to build a mini reef. I was surprised at how much he removed. Although a bit noisy, it works very well for what I need it for. The microbubbles stop after about 3-4 days. just be patient Easy to assemble. Half of the system is in the tank, so make sure that's okay. Compared to others I've returned that were strictly outside the tank, this one is far better. Skimmer for $60 or so is a decent deal. I doubt it's rated for 100g, but if you're looking for a 60g or less skimmer I think you can get away with it depending on your bioburden. The cone and cup are about the width of an index finger and hold about a gallon of water I would say. The mug holds about 10 ounces of Skimmat, so it's small. The cyclone effect creates a lot of bubbles. The inlet is just below the water level and is 10 to 12 inches wide when used as a cooktop. I lay mine on its side and my filter sits on the opposite side, in the back. It also produces a decent flow. I was hesitant at first because other cheap skimmers (that actually cost around $40) didn't impress or work. It actually does a very good job. I would recommend for a small tank if it's a reef tank and a larger tank if it's a FOWLR. I'm just lowering the price for the noise, but as long as your tank isn't next to your bed, you're fine.
