Update: I loved wearing these sneakers. After a few months they broke down, were easier to put on and never hurt my legs. But I have doubts about the material and the production as I had to replace them in less than a year due to the rubber sole separating/tearing from the fabric of the shoe. I haven't done anything crazy with these shoes and have worn them maybe 4 days a week just walking around town, to the office etc. I was hoping they would last longer. I've never owned a pair of running shoes. Lacostes before so I wasn't sure what to expect. My last pair of shoes was a Converse, which was a bit too big, so I would have ordered a size too small. I ordered them in my true size. They're a little tight to be honest. It's not too bad to wear but wasn't easy to put on and I find the edges of the sneakers wrapping around my ankle a bit stiff and irritating. Otherwise they fit normally, no other complaints or difficulties. I also like the look best, although I notice that the white part of the rubber sole gets dirty very quickly. I hardly wore them outside and after a week there was still quite a bit of dirt and brown left to wipe off.
