This is the perfect size for day trips. I use the Osprey reservoir instead of the one that comes in the kit. But the packaging itself is spot on. The best feature is the hip belt pockets. I use them to keep my phone and the inhaler I need easily accessible. The backpack is small and light, but durable and roomy enough for everything I'll pack for a day of hiking or mountain biking, plus extra layers. Interior pockets help store keys and small tools.
