VERY BRIGHT! suitable for motorcycles and weight training

They are VERY LIGHT - and that's a good thing! I don't like that Rushmore bikes only have two small taillights and no dedicated brake light. Insecurity might have been cool thirty years ago, but not now. I've always worried about being at the back. My wife's ex-husband died when someone hit him from behind (of course the fact that he wasn't wearing a helmet played a big part in that). You will definitely catch people's attention. They appear to be exact replicas of those available in HD, but at a much lower price. They are definitely high quality and even use real double sided 3M tape to attach them to bags. As far as I know they are made in the same factory in China as the HD. The ONLY negative I have to say is that they turn on when the ignition key is in the ACC position (regular taillights off). Not a big deal since I can always turn them off in my pockets. IDK whether true HDs do the same or not, but given the difference in price I don't care. A NOTICE. They DO NOT come with installation instructions. We are (mostly) MEN and don't read them anyway! If you really need the guide, download it from the HD website or trade in your Harley for a Goldwing. For the sake of your wife she can buy for you. Installation was easy. I managed to do this in 15 minutes using a Phillips screwdriver and wire cutters to cut the ends of the zip ties (not included btw). They plug into an outlet under the seat. Disconnect the existing connector and connect the control box to the two ends of the connector you just disconnected, then route the long connectors to the bags. Before attaching them, check the turn signals to make sure the right and left sides are installed correctly. I routed the wires just behind the shocks and then up and into the bags (with a connector for each light in the bags). Make sure your pockets are clean (use rubbing alcohol) before turning on the lights. First remove a small piece of red material from the double-sided tape. While holding them, remove the others from the bottom (while still holding them). Press firmly to ensure it is secure.
