The quality meets all my expectations. Fittings, hose and pressure gauge itself industrial/high quality. For some reason only one of the two inflation valves has a locking mechanism. The one with its back to you snaps onto the Schrader valve with internal grooves (essentially internal threads). The other has a smooth trunk. Not sure if this was intentional. Not that this is a defect on this particular product, but I would like all inflation valves of this type to work to show the pressure in the air tube when the tire is pressurized. It currently registers zero when the tire is full and only registers tire pressure when the valve is open. For this reason, many stores install a built-in tee and pressure gauge. In my opinion could/should have been installed in the device by reconfiguring the poppet valve. This is a simple valve configuration change inside and I made this change in mine. I also modified the aluminum body by drilling and tapping the side to mount a miniature exhaust valve. This allows me to deflate the tire and also turn on my air compressor when the pressure is similar to the inflated tire. The figure shows the location of the 1/8 inch NPTF valve. Proper placement is important to ensure multiple air ducts are not accidentally connected. I also installed an in-line regulator which I set to my desired tire pressure. This modification, combined with a lockable filler, allows for hands-free operation. Finally I added a quick connect between the dual head filler and the flexible hose. It's just my personal preference that allows you to fit other sizes of fountain pens, blow guns and some other equipment suitable for use in my shops.
