Great cannonball holder

Heavy duty aluminum. Numerous holes in the top allow for the addition of a Scotty downrigger ball holder or rod holder (although you will need to slightly enlarge the holes in the plastic ball holder and/or drill a new hole or two to mount the rod holder base). The 9 inch gimbal mount wasn't long enough to use on the pole bases in my striper boat. 9" is the entire length of the round tube and my rod base measures 9" from the tip to the cross pin. You'll need another half inch to fasten in the base.
