I just received these and after picking some carrots in my garden I was glad to cut them up and freeze them. The first haircut was terrible. The second cut barely went through the carrot. So I pulled out my old knives (some of which have disappeared over the years and who knows what happened). Old knives (from the same company, by the way) went through the carrots like clockwork. They're so thick and so crappy they can't be cut. I couldn't cut anything with them and if I tried to cut at my usual knife cutting speed I would definitely cut my fingers. And since they're jagged, you can correct for sharpness. Really disappointing. Save money and buy the best set.
