Review on 🔌 Metra 70-7903 Wiring Harness for 2001-Up Mazda Vehicles: Efficient Installation Solution by Darrell Sharp

I bought two of these to remove the contacts needed for the lights, steering wheel controls and antenna booster wiring. One of them was almost completely filled with wires, the other was missing two of them. Too bad I didn't figure it out before I started plugging it in. All wires were pre-stripped which was a godsend. Everything was clearly marked and labeled so installation was easy. One of the connectors had a noticeable crease at the top, the flat part shown in the picture, so it would have been difficult to install, hence 4 stars for that inconsistent molding. To remove the pins, insert a small flathead screwdriver or a piece of wire into the large hole next to the pin. INSERT the wire into the connector, wiggle the screwdriver or pen a little, then pull the wire out. Be sure to bend the locking tab on the pin slightly so it snaps into the slot after installation.
