Works well - mostly

This item works great on my 2002 BMW 525i. Most of the time. However, it was installed within a few months. The check engine light comes on twice for no apparent reason. When I scan the codes I get out of range mix errors on both banks. This is almost always a DMRV error. I understand it's a $20 MAF so don't expect miracles. The error is random and doesn't affect handling, it's just a PITA to go to my shop and reset the codes. But I'll wait until it gets worse, then I'll buy VDO.
