Great product, highly recommend

I finally ordered a BESTEK portable power adapter/converter (it does both) after researching other competitors for my money. BESTEK met the needs I had for a portable power supply. My requirements for a power supply/converter were simple-1. Converting from 220V to 110V 2. Have multiple socket adapters so I can use the product in different situations/countries3. Have multiple outlets including USB ports to charge different devices so I only need to pack one charger4. Must be travel size. Box and Components: The packaging was fairly standard - a small bubble-wrap box containing all the components. A power cord, a charger and three adapters were included in the scope of delivery. The charger feels very solid and feels a bit heavy. The reason for the charger's weight is probably the step-down transformer. The step down transformer will take you from 220v to 110v. Overall the product looks well put together and has a nice 'rugged' feel to it. An added bonus is multiple USB charging ports with two different amperage ratings - 1A and 2.4A. It also has a built-in fan to keep the converter cool. I will go into the fan in my review. Finally, there is an on/off switch. Travel: When I first used my converter on a family trip, I used it to charge my iPad2 and cell phone using two of the three outlets and nothing else. I "broke" it, if you will. I had no problem charging both devices at the same time. As more devices needed to be charged, I soon had two phones and three tablets plus a charger (for the camera) all charging at the same time. The BESTEK power pack charged all devices without any problems. The trip lasted a month and I used it every day without exception. As for the heat, it got hot, but that's to be expected since it's a converter. Its physics you don't know! But there's a fan that keeps things cool, especially considering its small size. About this fan: Another reviewer pointed out that the fan in the converter was annoying, and even my family members commented on the "spaceship sound" from the converter. . I got used to the noise pretty quickly, but it can get loud when everything else around you is quiet, especially if you have a hardwood or tile floor. I would say the fan is a strong point of the product, especially if you have multiple devices that charge to keep things cool. My family soon got rid of the fan noise and started appreciating the converter as it kept their devices well charged throughout the trip. Conclusion: This is a great product with plenty of charging ports and travel options. Its compact size makes it easy to pack, and additional adapters for different countries are welcome. It effortlessly charged 6 devices simultaneously (phones, tablets and charger) and never let me down throughout my trip. It's compact, easy to store, and feels good. I recommend this product if you need a 220v to 110v power converter that can charge multiple devices at the same time.
