Review on 🔒 UTSAUTO Liftgate Tailgate Hatch Lock Control Cable 64680-0C010 for 2001-2007 Sequoia - Genuine Replacement Part for Reliable Locking Mechanism by Shawn Trotter

The cable had too much slack to unlock my 2004 Sequoia SR5. I went to a tackle shop, bought a grinder and used pliers to add a second bead to take up the slack. This worked for several months and I thought the lead ball was soft so eventually it found a way. It was still with them so I redid it and now it doesn't work anymore. I used it with a brand new latch actuator so there isn't much rust or rubbing and I sprayed everything with silicone grease. I can try screwing on a mini bolt with a shank and some nuts to see if that works. I'm trying to find out if this will work with every cable I've ordered and if so I'll come back and give it 5 stars and see if the handle latch that grips the cable needs to be bent. something back.
