I'm not normally sensitive to smelly painting supplies, but these smelly ones are off the charts. After leaving them open for two months I still can't use them. They smell a little like rubber inner tubes or new tires, but worse. Much worse. They lay well, the color is stable with firm pressure, without crumbling and brittleness. They are shiny and multi-layered. They are covered in black plastic sheeting with sections cut out so they can be easily pulled back piece by piece. The crayons are not marked, after removing the wax coating (by sharpening) you can match the colors to the back of the box where they are listed. I wish I could give them more stars. but the smell. Odor!
