I've been using an Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n router for over a decade and it has worked really well. However, in recent years, speeds have slowly declined due to the number of connected devices and interference from nearby Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax was at the top of the list, so it was future-proof and also had some features designed to solve these problems. Juplink caught my attention because of the many positive reviews and the price. It had a lot of high-end features for the price. Of course I thought I would be disappointed based on the old adage you get what you pay for. However, my experience with this router was nothing short of fantastic. My speed instantly increased by 75% with SpeedTest and the coverage was fantastic in every corner of my house. It can combine the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands into a single SSID and seems to do an excellent job of picking the right one. In the farthest bedrooms of the house, it uses the 2.4GHz frequency which gives an excellent signal due to its ability to penetrate walls etc. The speed is also very good when connected to the 2.4 GHz frequency. I've had my router up and running for a week now and haven't had to reboot the device at all, which was my biggest fear. I am very impressed with this router and the price, will definitely buy again!
