Bought because I read all the reviews that you need it if you drive your car and want to use certain functions. My main unit is Pioneer DMH-1500NEX. The installation is very easy. There are three wires. Works as it should. I realize that this is not immediately work-related. When I turn on the car and the Pioneer device turns on, the Bluetooth turns gray when I press the menu. It takes about 8 seconds (presumably this is the time the electronics are working and simulating a parking brake) and after that time the blue cog icon lights up and I can edit the settings. I can also edit the settings while driving. No problem. Works great and I recommend it! Gone are the days when the parking brake cable was simply connected to a solid ground. But it's okay, it's a beautiful moment.
