I have a large wooden sign that I drew with chalk paint and although I have a chalk drawing I wanted a few pieces of the stamp to stay on it forever. I tried stamping with paint, chalk pencils and chalk dust. Neither really did the trick. Finally I decided to look inside a white ink stamp and stumbled upon it. It doesn't quite look like chalk on my product, but at least it prints well enough to be visible and I don't have to worry about smudges. It takes a long time to dry, but that also means I can wash it off if I mess up.
