Review on 🔩 Woodstock D4116 Doweling Jig: Accurate and Versatile Woodworking Tool by Chris Maurer

This mount is good for hobbyists like me but definitely not for self centering. Bought it after reading other reviews complaining about not being central (you get what you pay for). For my basic needs I was able to use the lamp and complete my project. I recommend this product if you don't mind truing by hand or if you have slightly off-center holes. When I opened the box I used a piece of wood to test the attachment. On the first try the holes were 1/16 inch off center. A socket wrench allows you to manually adjust one side of the fixture. It took me 5 tries and about 30 minutes before centering the holes. I've only used it on one project, but I suspect it needs to be manually adjusted before each project based on its design and the tilt of one side of the jig. open earlier than others.
