I have an 8th generation chord that I pasted this into. It sounds like an Asian weed for the first week, as a previous reviewer wrote. There is a fine line between the initial acceleration you once knew and the new acceleration. Level up only halfway to where you started in the past. That way you won't get as much growl and waste as much gas. If you go full throttle it roars and starts slower. After a while your car will get used to the support and will require less effort. I also removed the factory air intake under the car and this also had an impact on noise reduction. When I had my first car sharing passengers I was a bit confused and explained the noise and luckily most of them laughed. I've gone from 41mpg with ruthenium plugs, which increased my power, to 44mpg currently (highway). I've never had such an economical Honda in my life. I end up working on a filter setup to see if I can adjust the noise and am still playing around with it.
